This will be a two-parter. Courtney Weidner, a burner and insurance agent who has participated in Burning Man’s “Regionals Insurance Discussion List”, along with two industry colleagues, will start with a discussion of what you need to know about insurance in general. In the second party, they will discuss prospects for organizing a group insurance purchase by regional burns. Insurance has been a huge problem for U.S. regionals and maybe this can be a solution.
